Our friends, John Huston and Tyler Fish, are beginning an attempt at becoming the first American to reach the North Pole without the support of dogs, air drops, or other outside support. Kara and I worked with these guys during our years at Outward Bound they are both first rate people. We are truly excited for them and wish them well on this exciting trek. They are currently in Iqaluit, Baffin Island doing final preparations and their expedition begins on March 1, 2009, ends approximately April 26, 2009.
