Our school's graduation was on Saturday and it went very nicely. The kids got all packed up quickly and the dorm was empty by 3pm! We have a week of meetings coming up, and then we'll be ready for summer! Greg's summer camp begins next week, but we're also looking forward to a number of small upcoming trips.

Although it has been cool and rainy, we hope to get some warm dry weather soon. The vegetables and herbs in our community garden plot are doing well, and we're hoping for a bountiful harvest!

Adalynne continues to do great. She is running around and learning new words every day. For the moment, her favorite phrases are "bee-ree!" (which is "big rig" like tractor trailer), "blueb blueb" (aka "blueberries") and "dog, woof woof". Speaking of dogs, we all miss Cappy, but have heard from her new owners that she is doing quite well.

Summer is almost here!

Sad news…

After six years together, we are transferring Cappy to a new home this upcoming weekend. Since moving back to Massachusetts, we have struggled to provide the type of home she needs. This weekend, we will be driving down to Maryland to transfer her to a new family who has a long history with her breed and a familiarity with dogs who share her needs.

As you can imagine, this makes us tremendously sad, but at the same time we feel blessed that this new family is excited to adopt Cappy and, in our hearts, we know that it is the right decision.
